Basketball fans are ripping on Chicago Sky star Angel Reese for her dirty play on Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark during Saturday afternoon’s WNBA game.
Late in the fourth quarter of the Chicago-Indiana game, Angel Reese shoved Caitlin Clark to the ground as a two-point shot was about to go in. A stunned Clark looked at the officials puzzled, as Reese’s dirty play went uncalled:

At any rate, Clark got the last laugh as the Fever held on for a close 71-70 victory to pick up their second win of the season. Marina Mabrey of Chicago missed the first of two free throws with 6.1 seconds remaining, though she made the second to cut the lead to one.
The Fever were able to run out the clock, however, to escape with a victory. With the loss, Angel Reese and the Sky fell to 3-4 on the season, while Indiana moved to 2-8 and snapped a three-game losing streak.
Angel Reese had eight points, 13 rebounds and one assist in the game. As for Clark, she finished with 11 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
Angel Reese & Caitlin Clark Will Meet 3 More Times This Season
Reese vs. Clark has emerged as one of the best one-on-one sports rivalries over the past year, and it all started back in college a year ago.
The LSU Tigers and Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes met in the 2023 NCAA national championship game, with Reese and company emerging victorious. However, Clark’s squad got some comeuppance with a victory in this year’s Elite Eight showdown.
Indiana and Chicago will next square off on June 16, with that game airing at noon EST on CBS. A week later, the Sky will play host to the Fever in a 6:00 p.m. EST game that ill air on NBA TV. Their season series will wrap up in Chicago on Aug. 30.
