ICONIC 80s band Heart have been forced to cancel their upcoming European tour dates due to a medical issue.
The band – whose hits include Alone, Barracuda and Crazy On You – announced the cancellation via their social media on May 30.

“In late May, Ann Wilson will undergo a time-sensitive but routine medical procedure for which the minimum recovery time is six weeks.
“Heart deeply regrets this unfortunate circumstance and hopes to return to Europe soon.”
Refunds will be available at point of purchase as applicable.
Ann Wilson later added her own comment after resharing the official statement, assuring fans that she will be in better shape soon.
“I’m okay! Please don’t worry,” she wrote. “I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. It’s certainly an inconvenience for me.
“Love & respect always, Ann.”
Fans were quick to sent their love to Ann as she recovered.
“Have a quick recovery Ann and come back very soon to The Netherlands pleaseeeee,” said a one fan.
A second wrote: “Ann. Please take whatever it is to heal and be better. White light and God’s speed to you. Your loyal fans will always be with you in spirit!!❤️”
While a third noted: “I hope all goes to plan! Wishing you a smooth recovery after the surgery. Hopefully see you in London later this year or next! X”
As it currently stands, their North American tour dates – starting on July 30 through to the end of the year – are still set to go ahead.
