NBA – Jordan, Kobe or LeBron? Tim Duncan cuts it to the chase: “I refuse to…

Arriving in the league in 1997, Tim Duncan had the chance to face Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.

He was therefore forced to take a stand against the three legends and delivered a response… worthy of his standards.

Few players have experienced the end of Michael Jordan ‘s Bulls dynasty , the hegemony of Kobe Bryant ‘s Lakers and the reign of LeBron James .

Tim Duncan is one of them and has achieved the feat of winning championship titles despite the presence of these three icons in the league.

He therefore seemed well placed to prioritize them, which is precisely what he has been called upon to do in recent hours.

Tim Duncan settles the Jordan/Kobe/LeBron debate in his own way

For years now, Jordan, Bryant and James have been among the most talked about names in the endless GOAT debate.

Faced with the tensions that the latter generates, the stars who have worked with them on the NBA courts are regularly invited to give their opinion.

After Tony Parker a few years ago , it was Tim Duncan who did this exercise on the Richard Jefferson & Larry Show :

Richard Jefferson: Start-bench-cut: Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, LeBron James.

Tim Duncan: I refuse to answer that.

Richard Jefferson: You cannot invoke your right to remain silent.

Tim Duncan: In that case, I would put the three starters in and I would cut myself and put myself on the bench.

Richard Jefferson: That’s the correct answer!

Even after so many years away from the spotlight as a retiree, the Big Fundamental seems not to have changed.

Always as friendly and modest, the legendary Spurs interior therefore prefers to kick in and take on the dirty roles for the benefit of its three former prestigious counterparts.

A response which has obviously only strengthened its sympathy rating among Internet users:

We love seeing such a humble king

I recognize the leader of our franchise there😍

Rather than making two disappointments among Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, Tim Duncan places all three of them on the same level and puts himself behind them. A political decision which is not really surprising coming from him.
