The ‘Leave the World Behind’ star shared a behind-the-scenes look at her glam preparation
Julia Roberts admits she has a little extra help getting made up!
The Oscar winner, 56, shared an Instagram photo on Friday, showing off all the hands that help her achieve her glamorous looks. As Roberts sat in a makeup chair, she photographed the makeup artist and hair stylist assisting her.
“It takes a village! And I want to thank mine,” she wrote in the caption. “Couldn’t do the whirlwind without you!”
She credited her “village” in both the Instagram caption and tagged each contributor in the post, including her makeup artist, publicist, hair stylists and more.
The Leave the World Behind star showed off everyone’s hard work on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Thursday.
Roberts told host Andy Cohen that she got the part in Steel Magnolias after Meg Ryan passed on it because she was still filming When Harry Met Sally.
She also confessed that she would love to do a sequel to her romantic comedy My Best Friend’s Wedding. “There’s so many people in it,” she said, noting she’d want “to see what they’re doing and how Kimmy and Michael’s marriage is going…”
The actress dazzled at the premiere of Leave the World Behind on Nov. 30.
Roberts wore a wintry ensemble, which featured a pale, double-breasted blazer and shorts set from the Gucci Spring Summer 2024 runway collection.
The mother of three rocked a pair of Gucci pumps adorned with rows of dangling beaded strands. She complemented the sparkly shoes with her only non-Gucci piece, a sparkling statement necklace from Chopard, a brand in which she was named the global ambassador.
She added another pop of pink with a Lancôme “bronzelle” lip liner and the L’Absolu Rouge Intimate Blushing Nudes “Lover’s Whisper” lipstick — she also serves as an “ambassadress” for the makeup brand.
