Chinese artist Deng Lijun’s famous song “Moonlight Speaks for My Heart” has been performed by many singers, but surely no one expected rock singer Jon Bon Jovi to try his hand at singing again in a very ballad style.
Rock leader Bon Jovi posted the performance on YouTube on August 19 to dedicate to fans in the world’s most populous country on the day of the “Seven Deaths” (7/7 Lunar calendar), which is considered the Chinese Valentine’s Day when Niu Lang and Zhi Nu meet as in legend.
The song is also Jon Bon Jovi’s promotion for the band’s first concert in China in mid-September.
Although Jon Bon Jovi’s Chinese pronunciation is still not as standard as a native speaker, his emotional performance has received many positive reactions from fans.
Ca sỹ nhạc rock kỳ cựu này cũng chuẩn bị lên kế hoạch ở Singapore trong sự kiện Singapore Grand Prix từ 18-20/9./.
