Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce has landed a new gig following his retirement from football at the end of last season.

Kelce called it quits after supporting his brother, Travis Kelce, through a Super Bowl run this year, having exited the playoffs with the Eagles in the first round.

According to The Athletic, the six-time first-team All-Pro is set to be part of ESPN’s ‘Monday Night Football’ pregame show. Kelce is understood to have received proposals from several networks but has opted to go with The Worldwide Leader in Sports, which has so far declined to comment.

The recently retired Jason Kelce is headed to ESPN to be part of its “Monday Night Football” pregame show, sources briefed on the move told The Athletic,” the publication reported on Monday.

Kelce, who just retired after what is considered a Hall of Fame career with the Philadelphia Eagles, was sought after by multiple networks, but is slated to land on ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown.”

Another Big Name Is Set To Join Jason Kelce At ESPN

The likes of NBC, CBS, and Amazon all had an interest in Jason Kelce, who has been interested in media himself for a while and hosts a popular podcast called ‘New Heights’ alongside Travis.

Jason and his wife, Kylie, already had a relationship with Amazon as they did a documentary branded, ‘Kelce,’ together. While the company’s ‘Thursday Night Football’ set is packed, NBC and CBS are said to have wanted Kelce to be part of their Sunday broadcasts.

Meanwhile, ESPN has also recruited another big-name media free agent in former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. The six-time Super Bowl winner was on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ as part of the network’s coverage of the NFL Draft last week and will continue to make appearances on Mondays.

Belichick is also nearing a deal with Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, which would see him appear as a “semi-regular” guest on the ‘Manningcast.’
