Joe Rogan’s podcast ‘JRE’ topped the chart in the UK, but it seemed like things were not in his favor in the US as NFL star Travis Kelce’s ‘New Height’ had surpassed him as per past reports. But now the tables have turned as Joe Rogan has once again emerged as #1, as per reports by Edison Research.

Edison Research conducted weekly interviews with over 5,000 listeners aged 13 and above and published the top 50 US podcasts for Q1 2024. With New Heights, The Joe Rogan Experience remains at the top, while Jason and Travis Kelce are in the top #5 and #4. The remarkable ascent of the Kelce brothers’ podcast can be predominantly ascribed to Travis’s association with Taylor Swift.

Joe Rogan Reigns Over The Most Heard Podcast Chart

With almost 2,200 episodes to its name, each lasting a fantastic two to three hours, “The Joe Rogan Experience” show has become a podcasting hit since its start on December 24, 2009.

When Rogan switched his programs to Spotify, he inked a $100 million deal with the streaming service. “The Joe Rogan Experience” became the world’s most adaptable and popular podcast.

While many in America continued to criticize him for his political views and label him as a right-wing conspiracy theorist, the rest of the world was enamored with his show. For several years in a row during the past ten years, that elevated him to the top.

Spotify extended the agreement in 2023; according to The Wall Street Journal, it is valued at $250 million. This time, the partnership is different—rather than being exclusive, it will now be available on other platforms, including YouTube, Amazon Music, and Apple Podcasts.

Rogan has solidified his status as the most popular podcast globally on Spotify, both in the United States and the United Kingdom.
