“Jon Bon Jovi Discusses Son Jake’s Engagement to Millie Bobby Brown: Reflects on a Turbulent Year”

Jon Bon Jovi admitted it’s been a ‘crazy year’ for the family as two of his children plan their upcoming weddings.

The rocker, 62, has daughter Stephanie, 30, and sons Jesse, 29, Jake, 21, and Romeo, 20, with wife Dorothea and has been getting involved with their upcoming events.

Two of which require a lot of planning as Jesse and Jake are both engaged.

In 2022, Jesse popped the question to his girlfriend Jesse Light in front of his East Hampton home – with Jon in attendance.

In April last year, Jake also took a leap and asked actress Millie Bobby Brown to be his wife after less than two years of dating.

Jon’s daughter Stephanie has not mentioned a partner, but he has already written a song that he wants to perform for her on her wedding.

Asked about the music during an appearance on Wednesday’s This Morning, Jon shared: ‘I first wrote a song for her when she was five, now she’s 30 and getting married – you blink and these things happen.

‘So there’s a song on the record called Kiss The Bride which is quite moving for me…

‘Two of my sons are getting married too! It’s a crazy year.’

During a recent in interview with The Times Jon shared his excitement at youngest son Jake’s wedding to Stranger Things star Millie.

He shared: ‘I’ve gotten to know her in the last year, she works really hard, and she and Jake will grow together in their own way.’

The Livin’ On A Prayer singer also stated that his loved ones approved of Jake and Millie’s relationship.

‘It is an accelerated version of what I went through 40 years ago and I think, with the support of family around them, they’re gonna be great together,’ he said.

Jake and Millie were first linked when she shared a selfie featuring the model on her Instagram account in June of 2021.

The model and the Enola Holmes star went on to make their relationship Instagram official that November.

The performer revealed that she had become engaged by sharing a post on her account in April of last year.

Jon spoke about the happy couple’s relationship during an interview with Andy Cohen shortly after then, where he expressed that he was supportive of the pair marrying at an early age.

He stated via People: ‘I don’t know if age matters, if you find the right partner and you grow together.’

The hitmaker went on to speak about how he was happy about how his four children had all found romantic partners.

He added: ‘Growing together is wise. I think that all of my kids have found people that they think they can grow together with and we like them all.’
