Today, his fridge is stocked with a variety of healthy staples. “Fruit, lots of grapes, lots of blueberries, fresh vegetables… lots of water with electrolytes,” he describes, emphasizing his preference for nutrient-dense foods.
Jon’s diet now focuses on high-quality proteins from sources like chicken, eggs, and fish, complemented by fresh vegetables and fruits. Yogurt and hummus are among his favorite snacks, providing a good balance of probiotics and protein. He avoids foods he dislikes, such as cucumbers and raw carrots, but maintains a philosophy of moderation. “Everything in moderation, including moderation,” he quips, highlighting his balanced approach to eating.
The rock star’s diet has also adapted to avoid certain foods, especially those containing gluten. “I cut out a big plate of pasta and chicken, which used to be my typical pre-show meal, due to a concern about gluten,” he explains. Despite his aversion to gluten-free pasta, he acknowledges that it’s a necessary adjustment for his health.
Jon Bon Jovi’s commitment to fitness is evident in his daily routine. He typically works out five to six days a week, incorporating a mix of exercises that focus on both strength and flexibility. Over the years, he has shifted from traditional weightlifting to more holistic approaches that minimize inflammation and injury. “I was doing a lot of the usual pumping weights and running, but as I’ve gotten older, inflammation and injury started to creep in,” he notes.
His current fitness regimen includes pliability exercises, stretching, and the use of resistance bands. This approach not only helps him stay fit but also keeps him feeling good and free from the aches and pains that often accompany aging. Jon credits his trainer, Felicia Pelini, for helping him transition to this new workout style. “I was having a lot of pain and getting cortisone shots constantly. Since Felicia came into our lives, I don’t think I’ve seen a chiropractor more than three times in the last ten months,” he shares.
In addition to gym workouts, Jon enjoys playing tennis, which he humorously refers to as his aspiration to join the senior’s handicap division of professional tennis. This sport adds a fun and competitive element to his fitness routine, ensuring he stays active and engaged.

He emphasizes the importance of finding motivation and purpose in everyday activities, whether it’s performing on stage, going to work, or spending time with family. “You want to enjoy your weekend, play with your kids, or just go to work pain-free,” he says, underscoring the broad benefits of staying fit.
