Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi were the picture of newlywed bliss as they stepped out in New York City together on Tuesday.

The Stranger Things alum, 20, displayed her svelte abs in a sporty crop top as she held hands with her new spouse, 22.

The outing comes over a week after the couple ‘secretly married’ in the states, according to The Sun.

Jake’s rock star father, Jon Bon Jovi, has since confirmed the couple tied the knot.

The couple were looking stylish as usual, with both rocking one very important new accessory – their wedding rings.

The newlyweds were beaming with happiness as they enjoyed the sunshine, occasionally snuggling up in the midst of their stroll.

The stylish Millie paired her top with baggy black trousers, trainers, and a powder blue newsboy cap.

Eyes shaded behind fashionable sunnies, she cast a wide smile at her new husband as he led the way.

She enjoyed a tasty snack throughout the stroll – an iced beverage from Starbucks.

Her husband was also spotted drinking his own drink but seemingly finished his before his wife.

Jake was looking smart in a cream V-neck sweater teamed with Louis Vuitton shorts, textured sneakers, and edgy sunglasses.

At one point, Jake and Millie tenderly wrapped their arms around each other’s backs as they continued their leisurely stroll.

The actress was clearly in a great mood – at one point she flashed a friendly wave.

It comes after Jake’s father Jon Bon Jovi confirmed the secret wedding between his son and Millie.

The newlyweds were beaming with happiness

The rocking legend, 62, told The One Show viewers on Tuesday that the ceremony was a small affair as he dubbed his new daughter-in-law ‘gorgeous’.

He told show hosts Roman Kemp and Lauren Laverne that his son – who proposed to Millie last year – is ‘happy as can be’ and that the rumours are in fact true.

Appearing as a guest on the show alongside actress Daisy Ridley, Bon Jovi confessed: ‘They are great, they are absolutely fantastic.

‘It was a very small family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous and Jake is happy as can be. Yeah it is true.’

It is believed that the actress and the model ‘tied the knot last weekend’ in the states.

According to The Sun’s sources, Jon was there as well as Millie’s parents.

‘Millie and Jake quietly said their vows in America last weekend,’ a person close to the couple shared.

‘They are planning a bigger ceremony in the US later this year but now they have legally married and done all the paperwork.’

‘It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows,’ it was added.
