Millie Bobby Brown Fosters ‘Handsome’ New Kitten Following Marriage to Jake Bongiovi

Millie Bobby Brown is welcoming an adorable furry addition to her family!

The newlywed Stranger Things star — who secretly tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Jake Bongiovi last weekend — revealed in a post on her Instagram Stories that she had fostered a kitten as she shared photos of the cute feline on Friday, May 24.

“Fostered this handsome boy!” Brown wrote in the caption, referring to the adorable ginger kitten pictured. “Please extend your home to this sweet kitty called Loki!”

“Foster or adopt Loki today!” the actress added, tagging animal rescue service Best Friends — New York.

Loki was seen in a collage of photos with what appeared to be Brown herself sitting with the kitten on a couch while he crawled behind her and on her chest as she stroked him. In one cute snap, the kitten gave the actress a snuggle as he nestled in her shoulder.

Brown’s latest family update comes after PEOPLE learned on Friday, May 24 that she had married her long-term boyfriend, Bongiovi, 22.

The couple tied the knot in a “low-key” ceremony attended by Bongiovi’s parents Jon Bon Jovi, and Dorothea Bongiovi and Brown’s parents and their closest family, according to The Sun.

The couple are also set to throw a larger ceremony later this year, the outlet reported.

Brown announced her engagement with Bongiovi in an Instagram post on April 11. The actress shared a black-and-white photo of the pair embracing as she wrote in the caption, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all 🤍,” referencing a line from Taylor Swift’s “Lover.”

On Friday, May 24, the newly-married couple were spotted out shopping together in the Hamptons, in photos obtained by PEOPLE.

The pair wore casual outfits of T-shirts and jeans with matching black sunglasses as they each sported their new wedding rings. Bongiovi was also seen during their shopping trip driving his new wife around in a Ford convertible with the top down.

Brown and Bongiovi first sparked rumors of dating in June 2021 when Bongiovi posted a selfie with the actress on Instagram. Brown confirmed in 2022 that they “were friends for a bit” before they started dating in a Wired interview and the pair stepped out together in New York City shortly after.
