Millie Bobby Brown gushed over her now-husband Jake Bongiovi in a sweet Instagram post, which she posted just two weeks before the couple ‘secretly married’.

The Stranger Things alum, 20, shared a snap of herself capturing Jake, 22, in front of a stunning sunset while saying his birthday was her ‘favourite day.’

The British actress is seen wearing a red checked camisole mini dress and white sandals, while Jake is seen sporting a white cowboy hat.

The following shot captured the happy couple holding hands while in the car as Jake drove in the sunshine, with Millie’s dazzling engagement ring catching the eye.

The star couldn’t stop gushing over her loved one and took the occasion to pay the model a birthday tribute, captioning: ‘The day u were born is my favorite day i love you ❤️.’

On Friday, reports emerged that the lovebirds have ‘secretly married’.

Insiders claim that Millie and Jake, who is the son of Jon Bon Jovi, ‘tied the knot last weekend’ in the states, according to The Sun.

DailyMail.com has reached out to reps for Millie and Jake.

According to sources, Jon was there as well as Millie’s parents.

‘Millie and Jake quietly said their vows in America last weekend,’ the person close to the couple shared. ‘They are planning a bigger ceremony in the US later this year but now they have legally married and done all the paperwork.’

‘It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows,’ it was added.

The two stars shared their engagement news in separate Instagram posts in April 2023.

Showing off her glimmering ring in a black and white photo, Brown beamed from ear to ear while Jake wrapped his arms around her.

Earlier this year, his famous dad Jon Bon Giovi confirmed he would be performing at the wedding ceremony.

When asked on the red carpet of the 2024 MusiCares Person of the Year gala if he would be sing at the nuptials, he emphatically told DailyMail.com: ‘Yes!’

Millie spilled on the Today show back in September that she and Jake were sharing wedding planning responsibilities.

‘It has not been stressful at all for me. Jake is very involved. He’s very helpful during the whole process,’ she opened up.

The Netflix sensation added, ‘I’ve never felt alone in it, which I think is really nice. I’m always like, “Is this a good idea? Is this a good idea?”

‘But ultimately, it’s just a very intimate day for the both of us and we’re really both very excited.’

And speaking with the Sunday Times last year, Brown gushed about her now-husband: ‘After we met, we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side. You can’t pinpoint why [someone is “the one”], it’s just the feeling of knowing that that’s the person you want to spend the rest of your time with.’

‘I think so much of life is overthinking,’ she mused. ‘The one thing that made clear sense to me was him. So I didn’t really have to do much thinking.’
