Sebastian Bash Drops Bombshell: Reunited Skid Row With Reunited Bon Jovi

Sebastian Bach mentioned his dreams for a reunion between Skid Row and Bon Jovi during a recent fan Q&A for Metal Hammer. He replied to a question about who would win in a fight between him and Jon Bon Jovi:

“Well, we’re not fighters, we’re musicians, so that doesn’t make sense. What I will say is, can you imagine a tour with Bon Jovi reuniting with Richie Sambora and the reunited Skid Row as an opener? We could take that around the world as many times as Guns N’ Roses did. I mean, maybe not quite that many times, but it would be a big draw.”

The two bands had a dispute on tour in the ’80s, according to the ex-Skid Row vocalist’s autobiography, ’18 and Life on Skid Row.’ The ’Youth Gone Wild’ group’s rising popularity as Bon Jovi’s opening act reportedly triggered the tension.

Bach And Bon Jovi’s Feud Is Over

The lead singers let the feud go when they met again years later. Bach was dining with Axl Rose at the Mandarin Orientel Hotel in 2006, and a waitress approached the two to let them know that Jon Bon Jovi wanted to ‘say hi.’ The former Skid Row vocalist recalled:

“Jon looked at me with a look like, ‘Are you going to be a fucking dick? Are you going to be cool?’ and I just said, ‘Hey, dude, how’s it going?’ We had a long ride together with a lot of success and there’s a lot of great memories, despite what the internet will tell you. So, I invited him over to our table and me, Jon and Axl had a great night, inhaling red wine and reminiscing.”

Jon is taking a break from live performances these days to recover from vocal surgery. Meanwhile, Sebastian is getting ready for a U.S. tour to promote his latest album, ‘Child Within the Man.’

Bach’s possible return to Skid Row remains uncertain at the moment. The band is currently moving forward with Lzzy Hale in the lead vocals because Erik Grönwall stepped down from touring due to health issues.
