It’s not uncommon for NFL players to get in trouble with the law, as we have seen over the years, but what Aaron Hernandez did was indeed out of this world.

In 2013, Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was arrested and convicted of murdering Odin Lloyd, a semi-pro footballer who was dating Hernandez’s fiancée’s sister.

Over the years, it has been discovered that Lloyd may have been speaking with police inside a Boston nightclub when he and Hernandez were together. Putting the facts together, some believe Lloyd was there during Aaron Hernandez’s double homicide. If he testified, he could throw Hernandez in jail, which is why he was eventually taken out by the former NFL tight end.

Just recently, a video surfaced this week showing a happy Aaron Hernandez being asked about bounties, which was referring to the “Bountygate” scandal that happened under Sean Payton when he was the head coach of the New Orleans Saints.

Saints were found to have placed “bounties” on opposing players, implementing a reward system for hits that caused injuries.

A fan asked Aaron Hernandez how much a hit would cost if it came to him. He then asked if he would be upset if he had a bounty on his head, to which he answered, “No, I wouldn’t.”

He was once again asked how much he thinks a hit would be if it was placed on him, to which Hernandez said, “No comment.”

The former Patriots tight end was convicted of shooting Lloyd to death on June 17, 2013.

Hernandez was convicted of the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd in 2015 and sentenced to life in prison. He died by suicide in 2017 after hanging himself in his jail cell.

Hernandez’s death was shocking as he was just found not guilty of the murders of 29-year-old Daniel de Abreu and 28-year-old Safiro Furtado, two men who were shot to death in a drive-by shooting outside the Boston nightclub Cure in 2012.

Hernandez was also found not guilty of five of six other charges, which included armed assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Shayanna Jenkins, the fiancée of late former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez and the mother of the couple’s child, fired back at jokes directed at Hernandez during Netflix’s “The Roast of Tom Brady.”

“It’s sad that I’m trying to raise my children in such a cruel world,” Jenkins told TMZ regarding her 11-year-old daughter.
