Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese has received a lot of backlash in the last few days following Saturday’s game against Clark’s fever. Now, she is back in the headlines after a bizarre incident, this time with the match referee.

Reese was ejected from Sky’s game against the New York Liberty for waiving off the referee for a call she didn’t like. The incident occurred in the fourth quarter, with the Sky trailing. Reese received a technical foul for an aggressive defense against a Liberty player.

However, the No. 7 overall pick was not happy with the call and showed a waive-off gesture to the referee in frustration, which led to a second technical foul and ejection.

Despite the ejection, Reese had a good outing, finishing with 13 points and 10 rebounds. However, it was not enough as Liberty cruised to an 88-75 victory.
