Video Jayson Tatum Reveals Truth Behind His Viral Jaylen Brown Smack

On Monday night, the Boston Celtics beat a depleted Cleveland Cavaliers team 109-102 in Game 4 of the NBA Playoffs second round. The Celtics will travel back home for Game 5 with a comfortable 3-1 lead.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown led the way for the Celtics, scoring 60 of the teams 109 points.

Late in the game, Brown made a three-point jump shot with 1:09 left on the clock to give the Celtics an eight-point lead. The Cavs were forced to call a timeout and Tatum came over to Brown and gave him a friendly ‘good job’ smack on the chest.

Apparently Tatum hit Brown a little too hard because Brown appeared to be in pain.

After the game, Tatum spoke about this moment and gave a short, honest review of it.

“I didn’t realize how hard I hit him,” Tatum said, “I’ve been lifting a lot lately.”

Both the smack and the interview were posted to social media by CelticsMuse.
