KANSAS City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is once again getting made fun of for his “dad bod” as he returns to the Chiefs camp.
The Chiefs quarterback went viral during the playoffs for having a bit of a belly, and it appears it is making a comeback.

The 28-year-old returned to the Chiefs’ facility after winning his third Super Bowl in February, but faced some jokes for how he arrived.
Mahomes rolled up in shorts and a T-shirt, but fans could see his dad bod poking through the shirt.
Fans didn’t hold back once they noticed the quarterback’s fitness and made fun of him on social media.
“Dad bod in full flow,” one fan said.
“Bro could really benefit from some cardio,” another fan said.
“Got that offseason build. My boy was in Texas eating good!” a third fan said.
“Bro doesn’t even need to be in shape for a three-peat,” a fourth fan said.
Mahomes has come to the defense of his dad bod multiple times, recently claiming that it was a good build for an NFL quarterback.
“I definitely have the dad bod a little bit. I’ll also say I have a great body for a quarterback,” Mahomes told Time.
“You’ve got to have some padding in there to take the hits that we take.”

Both Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens and Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins have lost considerable amounts of weight.
Jackson dropped 10 pounds this offseason to come in at 205 pounds and hopefully add even more speed to his game.
“The word in Baltimore is this slim Lamar could be even faster than the one we’ve seen in years past,” NFL reporter Dianna Russini said.
Tagovailoa lost between 10 and 15 pounds to bring his playing weight to 220 for the 2024 season.
He originally bulked up for the 2023 season after some durability concerns, but after playing a full, healthy season the Dolphins are comfortable with him gaining some agility.
“Last year the priority was bulking up,” NFL reporter Cameron Wolfe said.
“They did want him to get as heavy as possible to withstand it, now they’ve seen him withstand it the hope is he can extend a little bit more with a little bit of a slimmer weight.
“So they don’t think that this is gonna necessarily make him more fragile, because the injuries often happen from him falling backwards. Not from him being too small.”
The Chiefs, Ravens, and Dolphins are all expected to be playoff contenders in the upcoming season with their top quarterbacks.
