Taylor Swift expressed her gratitude towards the hardworking truck drivers on her Eras Tour by giving them $100,000 bonuses.
This generous gesture occurred before her second performance in Santa Clara, California. But this wasn’t the only gift she shared with her team.
With approximately 50 drivers in Taylor Swift’s tour crew, she distributed a total of $5 million in monetary gifts.
She rewarded the truck drivers and extended bonuses to other essential members of the tour, including the band, dancers, caterers, lighting and sound technicians, and other staff. While the exact amounts given to the other team members remain undisclosed, the feeling behind the appreciation was evident.
Swift’s final Eras shows in the U.S. will be held in Los Angeles before she heads to South America with opener Sabrina Carpenter for more shows until November 26.
Swift will embark on an extensive international tour, spanning Japan, Australia, Singapore, France, Sweden, Portugal, Spain, Ireland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland, Austria, and the U.K., starting in February 2024.
Despite the success of the Eras Tour, it faced some initial challenges as fans struggled to secure tickets due to high demand. Swift expressed her concern on Instagram in November 2022 and sought ways to improve the ticketing process for future events.
Overall, Taylor Swift’s “Lover” nature shines through in her appreciative gestures towards her tour crew, making the Eras Tour a memorable and heartwarming experience for everyone involved, including her ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner.
