North West calls out mom Kim Kardashian for trying to hide her acne online

Kim Kardashian is known for keeping her public image under tight control, whether she’s making a red carpet appearance or sharing photos online.

The reality star has a reputation for heavily editing her pictures and even having to approve paparazzi photos before they can make their way online.

While fans may not be aware of everything Kim does to tweak her physical appearance in front of the camera, her daughter North West recently exposed Kim’s real skin texture, showing the lengths the Skims founder goes to ensure her face looks flawless behind the camera.

North’s Mother’s Day Post Showed Kim’s Real Skin

In a candid moment shared on TikTok, which was a Mother’s Day tribute, the 10-year old provided a glimpse into her mom’s true skin texture. North shared a selfie showcasing Kim’s natural appearance, complete with pimples and fine lines, as she posed with her son Psalm, 5, in the comfort of her Los Angeles home.

Kim was dressed casually in an oversized brown and yellow flannel shirt. Despite the reality star’s usual flawless appearance, the snapshot revealed subtle fine lines on her forehead and small pimples on her cheek and chin, offering a refreshing departure from the typical polished image often portrayed in celebrity circles, particularly those in the Kardashian-Jenner family.

Later in the video, North included a snapshot featuring her and Kim adorned in boiler suits and face masks. Additionally, she offered a glimpse behind the scenes, sharing several photos of Kim undergoing hair and makeup preparations ahead of the Met Gala. Amidst the montage, North added shots of herself posing alongside a group of friends.

Captioning the clip with three pink love heart emojis, North extended warm Mother’s Day wishes to her mom, adding a sweet touch to the candid glimpse into their lives.

North Has Put Kim On Blast Before

This hardly the first time North has exposed her mother online before. As she grows older, the pre-teen has become more vocal and unafraid to explore Kim’s attempts to control her public image.

For example, one video that went viral in 2020 showed North accusing Kim of trying to “hide from her kids” while filming a makeup video in her bathroom. While several of her four kids could be heard in the background, Kim confessed to the camera, “My kids will not leave me alone,” before North interrupted her.

There was another time North suggested her mom can’t cook when asked what’s the best thing Kim makes. Kim has even admitted that North has given her flack for only posting certain photos to socials, which is perhaps another sign North picks up on how much Kim edits her content.

While Kim may continue to edit her photos and use filters on videos, at least fans have North West to rely on to reveal her mother’s strategies.
