With the win, the Celtics now theoretically advance to the NBA Finals. They will play against either the Dallas Mavericks or Minnesota Timberwolves. The Celtics will hope the Western Conference Finals extends to seven games. This way, they can focus on resting players, and hopefully seeing others return. However, we’ll see if Boston has what it takes to go all the way this year.

With the loss, the Pacers’ season comes to a heartbreaking end. Without Haliburton, the Pacers showed they don’t have enough talent without star players. And while Pascal Siakam is great, he can’t be the only one other than Haliburton to win games. Indiana has a great team, but they’ll need to bolster it this offseason. Perhaps one more star player might give them the push they need.

We now head to the NBA Finals, unless the Pacers manage to pull off a miracle in real life. Regardless, we anticipate the real game results this Monday.
