This past week, WNBA rookie Angel Reese made her preseason debut with the Chicago Sky.
And on Monday night — her 22nd birthday — Reese made yet another debut.
The former college basketball superstar and pop culture icon took the red carpet for her first ever appearance at the Met Gala.
“She looks amazing,” one wrote.
“A WNBA ROOKIE at the met gala. Anyone who doubts Angel Reese’s impact is literally just a hater,” another said.
“This is gorgeous! She looks good,” another added.
“I want to cry!!! So proud of you Angel!! Beautiful as ever,” another wrote.
Reese continues to shine both on and off the court. The No. 7 overall pick recorded 13 points and a game-high nine rebounds in her preseason debut this past Friday.
After tonight’s event, Reese will make her way back to Chicago for tomorrow night’s preseason matchup against the New York Liberty.
