Angel Reese is gearing up to step on the court as a rookie for the Sky in their regular season opener against Dallas.

However, the fans get a glimpse of some of her off-court personality before witnessing her on-court prowess at the professional level.

Apparently, the Chi-town Barbie of Chicago opened up more about her personal attributes in the basketball magazine SLAM.

History is in the making as Angel Reese becomes the first athlete whose cover photo was captured on Google Pixel.

Be that as it may, that wasn’t the only interesting development before her WNBA debut. Her recent interaction with the sports magazine had some in-depth details of her personal profile.

Embracing proudly her girly instincts for which she credits her Grandma, Reese also made revelations of what she aspired to be if not a basketball player.

Reese went on and said, “I’ve always been a girly girl. So, posting on Instagram pictures of me just being cute with my friends or just having a good time. I love taking pictures, I always knew I wanted to be a model. I embrace who I am.”

Adding further to it, the three-time ALL-American forward also expressed how delighted she feels that she’s able to pull off multiple personalities of herself.

That she can be a fierce competitor on the court and at the same time be a “Bayou Barbie” off it. Angel Reese said, “Being able to be the Barbie, the lashes, the nails, the edges and all. Being able to do both is just something that I kind of push—that you can do both.”

Anyhow, the 2023 NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player was not all about herself in this interview. She spared some thoughts on the fresh talent surfacing at the college basketball level.

Angel Reese has some words of wisdom for the young guns

Several exceptional ballers burst onto the scene in the 2023-24 season of the NCAA championships. From USC’s Juju Watkins to South Carolina’s MiLaysia Fulwiley, each of these skillful freshmen turned a lot of heads with their supreme exhibition of basketball.

On being asked what the one piece of advice is she would like to give these standout athletes, Reese said, “The advice I would probably give is just stay true to yourself. Be you, do something that makes you different from everybody else.”

Angel Reese sure serves as a role model for many whether she’s on the court or off it. Whether anyone likes her or not, no one can deny that she has her fair share of contributions is revolutionizing the game. Further, it’s her ability to reinvent herself time and again that makes her a sensation among fans.
