Member of the iconic 1992 Dream Team, Magic Johnson will see Team USA present this summer at the Paris Olympic Games with a terrifying new armada.
On the eve of this event, he has just spoken some strong words… to Stephen Curry.
In an era where competition on the international scene is much tougher than a few decades ago, they can no longer afford to take things lightly.
The United States remains in fact a fiasco during the last World Cup and has therefore decided to call on a very strong group for the Paris Olympic Games .
Group in which a certain Stephen Curry appears in particular.
Magic Johnson goes hard on Steph Curry before the Paris Games
Now 36 years old, Steph Curry will possibly play his last international competition this summer.
However, nothing guarantees this since he still displays a very high level in the NBA, where he has just been named to the All-NBA Third Team.
Enough to match one of the career marks of the illustrious Magic Johnson, who sent him a message full of respect and admiration on this occasion:
Magic Johnson: To one of my all-time favorite players, Steph Curry: congratulations my brother on your 10th selection in an All-NBA Team, as many as yours truly.
We have always been linked.
You know I love you for what you did. You changed basketball in the NBA.
It’s hard to initiate such a change, but you managed it with your four championship titles, but also your qualities as a shooter and dribbler.
It is for all these reasons that all children around the world adore you.
You always only cared about winning, playing the game the right way and also doing things the right way away from the court.
You have been a role model for me and so many other people and I want to congratulate you. Keep it up and good luck for the Olympics. I will follow you carefully.
Obviously already impatient at the idea of witnessing the prowess of his compatriots in France, Johnson hopes, among other things, to see Curry shine there. The latter actually seems to be looking forward to it too given his recent post on social networks:
Even though this 15th season didn’t end as planned, there is a lot to build on and look forward to! Thanks to DubNation and grateful for all of this! 10X All-NBA, who would have thought it… See you this summer 🇺🇸!
Selected for the 10th time in an All-NBA Team, Stephen Curry received warm compliments from Magic Johnson. No time, however, for the two men to dwell on this feat, they who already have their eyes fixed on the Olympics.
