During a recent episode of “Get Up” on ESPN, former NBA player Udonis Haslem made some bold predictions about the free agency of Los Angeles Lakers star player LeBron James and the team he will play for next season.
The 3-time NBA champion mentioned that trading King James from the Lakers would be wrong.
He also claimed that the Lakers’ star player would not go anywhere or play for any other team.
“You got a better chance wrestling an alligator than getting Bron out of L.A. … He ain’t going nowhere,” Haslem said.
James trade rumors have been going viral on the internet. Many NBA analysts have been debating the 39-year-old star’s next team. However, it has not been officially declared what James wants for the next season.
Rich Paul Gives Some Insight Into LeBron James’ Decision
Recently during truTV’s NBA Western Conference Finals simulcast, Rich Paul, an American sports agent, gave some insight into LeBron James’ decision.
“Look, LeBron is a free agent; I gotta focus on his business and let the Lakers hire whoever they hire [as head coach]. He’s always shown up and played for whatever coach is there.
I don’t know what he’s gonna do. We’re gonna do what we do every year. We’re gonna evaluate the situation and we’re gonna make the best decision.” Paul said.
Whether Rich Paul’s actions were an honest mistake or a well-planned strategy remains to be seen.
Until then, Lakers fans have nothing to worry about.
LeBron James made vague statements that neither confirmed nor denied his intention to stay in the region.
As usual, LeBron remains silent on the topic.
