Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese (5) warms up before the game against the Dallas Wings at College Park Center.
Former LSU national champion Angel Reese has never been hesitant about speaking her mind.
This week, Reese spoke out about TV networks and how they need to do a better job at promoting teams and players other than the Indiana Fever and Caitlin Clark.
Clark has played four games in her WNBA career so far.
But Clark isn’t the only reason the WNBA has seen an uptick in viewers.
In a post to X, Reese spoke out about the TV Network’s sole focus on Clark and the need to promote other teams and players.
The Chicago Sky forward thinks there’s a huge need for TV networks to air more games involving other teams than the Fever.
“Give every team the same PUBLICITY cause it ain’t just one team,” Reese said on social media. She concluded by adding, “Oh the CHICAGO SKY ARE HERE & ON THE RISE!”

Believe it or not, 36 of Caitlin Clark’s 40 Indiana Fever games will be nationally televised. There’s a significant drop off after that.
Reese is hoping to change that. The WNBA is chalked full of talented rookies like Cameron Brink and Clark’s former teammate, Kate Martin. It’s only a matter of time before TV networks recognize how popular these players are.
Reese and the Chicago Sky, meanwhile, battle Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty on Thursday night.
