The 62-year-old Irishman is arguably the hottest action star in Hollywood, thanks to a string of revenge dramas, shoot-em-ups and, of course, the hugely successful Taken series.
Now he’s filming another tense one, Run All Night, and the first photos from the Woodside Queens set of the movie show a bloody and bruised Neeson who still doesn’t have a hair out of place.

Bloody and bruised: Liam Neeson, 62, is arguably Hollywood’s hottest action star at the moment, and his first photos from Run All NIght show he’s not slowing down
In Run All Night, directed by Spaniard Jaume Collet-Serra, Neeson plays a hitman forced to battle with his ex-boss in order to protect his estranged son.
On set, he looks to be maintaining his traditional calm, pensive manner as he’s definitely in character with significant cuts and a bandage around his left hand.
Completing his tough guy gear was a brown leather jacket by Matchless and black denim trousers as he scanned his smartphone in-between takes on set.
Bumps and bruises are par for the course for Neeson who really has taken a career detour in the last few years.

In the Taken threequel, he returns as doting father Bryan Mills who goes on the run to find out who killed his wife – all while protecting his daughter (again).
‘Don’t trust anyone,’ he warns his panicked daughter (played by Maggie Grace) as he tries to explain why everyone’s after them. ‘There are things I’ve done in my life.’
Despite the series massive success, the actor recently said that the series is over.

Nonstop grossed $200 million worldwide earlier in the year, while Taken and Taken 2 racked up more than $600 million around the globe.
Liam reportedly earned $20 million for Taken 3; he is thought to have made $1 million for the original.
