Patrick Beverley is undoubtedly one of the most vocal NBA stars on and off court, as evidenced by his recent spat with an ESPN reporter. And even though rumors instantly surfaced about a ban being imposed the Milwaukee Bucks star, the network quickly clarified matters about the incident.

On the other hand, six Indiana players scorer in double-digits to take the win against Milwaukee. Led by the pairing of Obi Toppin and TJ McConnell’s combined 41 points from the bench, the Pacers swarmed the Bucks to advance to the next round.
Apart from throwing the ball towards a fan, Beverley also vented his frustration out on ESPN producer Malinda Adams during a postgame press scrum. After learning that she wasn’t subscribed to the Bucks star’s podcast, he told her that she couldn’t interview him and told her to leave.

After news of what Beverley did spread on social media, there were a lot of rumors going around that ESPN imposed a ban on the Bucks guard. This prompted the network to release a statement on the matter on their official X account.
The Bucks and Beverley respectively reached out to Adams to apologize for the latter’s attitude during that postgame press scrum. For his part, Milwaukee’s latest acquisition during the trade deadline boasts an NBA podcast with over 260,000 subscribers on YouTube.
It remains to be seen whether the NBA will drop some form of punishment for Beverley or not. In any case, it’s going to be a long time before fans see him on the court again.
