Lady Gaga once again proved she was a force to be reckoned with as she raked in five MTV VMAs at the 2020 ceremony, including a first-ever award for her iconic achievements
Lady Gaga once again dominated a music awards ceremony, proving she is after all, the princess of pop.
The Poker Face songstress, 34, arrived at the event held in the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York, donning a plastic bubble hat before performing in a pink face mask.
Gaga went on to bag the first MTV Tricon Award, celebrating her legacy in music, acting and fashion.
Famed for her iconic looks, the New York star rocked up to the 2010 VMA wearing a dress made of completely raw meat, instantly turning heads.

Accepting the award, the Stupid Love singer dedicated her speech to fans.
“I want to share this award with everybody at home tonight. Everybody that is their own form of a Tricon,” she said, before reflecting on a year disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic and social unrest.
“This has not been an easy year for a lot of people, but what I see in the world is a massive triumph of courage,” she added.

“Just because we’re separated right now and culture may feel less alive in some ways, I know a renaissance is coming and the wrath of pop culture will inspire you and the rage of art will empower you as it responds to hardship with its generosity and love. This is what I believe.
“I want nothing more than to be your artist in 2020, it’s a total privilege.”

The A Star Is Born Actress walked away with Best Collaboration, Artist of the Year, Tricon Award and Best Cinematography.
Speaking about her other awards, Gaga gushed: “Winning for the best song has to be my favourite because at the end of the day, my heart is as a songwriter and I surely didn’t ask for a free ride.”
Joining up with Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga performed their hit single Rain On Me for the first time.
Over the course of her career, Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, has gone on to secure friendships with some of the biggest couture names in the world, including Donatella Versace and Alexander McQueen.
