But to Iggy Azalea, all the credit for the raunchiness goes to Jennifer Lopez.
Taking to her Twitter account hours after the show to thank her fans, the 24-year-old rapper paid respect to J-Lo with some unusually choice words.

‘And of course [J-Lo] made me look like a pile of dog poo standing next to he because she’s so perfect. seriously tho, i love her. babeville’ she posted.
She also revealed that during a costume change in her solo performance, her microphone was left on.
‘I had such a great night! just watched the beg for it video and saw they forgot to mute my mic while i was in the quick change. haha!’ she wrote.

The pop divas had ABC executives nervous about whether they’d cross the line with their performance of Booty.
But they needn’t have worried as Lopez and Iggy kept their reenactment of their raunchy video pretty tame on Sunday when they took to the stage at the American Music Awards.

Jennifer, 45, kicked off the show in a sparkling tuxedo-style bodysuit showing off some impressive moves and incredible flexibility.
Much like in the video for Booty, the pop diva displayed wet hair but was missing the body oil.
Before being joined onstage by Iggy, Jennifer whipped off her black and white costume to reveal a sparking red bodysuit.
The Sydney born performer appeared in a lower part of the stage in a gold halterneck bodysuit with her blonde locks tied up in a thick bushy ponytail.

The duo then joined each other for some twerking and grinding, at one point they were back-to-back and rubbing up against each other with their pert derrieres.
J-Lo was spanked by her younger counterpart several times but that’s as naughty as it got for the stars as Iggy then vacated the stage.
Meanwhile Waiting For Tonight singer J-Lo donned a sparkling jacket for the remainder of her performance – giving an impressive solo dance set, wowing the crowd with her nimble footwork.

According to TMZ head honchos at ABC had set some ground rules for what was acceptable for the ladies’ performance.
In their music video for Booty, which gained 11 million views in just 24 hours, the two artists rubbed their famous behinds up against each other while wearing high-cut swimsuits and wet-look hair.
The song is part of Jennifer’s A.K.A. album, which was released in June and opened to first week US sales of 33,000.
