And still looked every inch the Pretty Woman as she stepped out in red on Friday.

The actress – who turns 51 in October – was indulging in a little retail therapy at the Cross Creek Shopping Center in Malibu, accompanied by her 13-year-old son Phinnaeus.

The Oscar-winner did not appear to be laden with bags – unlike her famous ‘Big mistake’ spree – but did looks stunning as ever as she stepped out with the teen, who appears to share both her hair colour and height.

The Ocean’s Eleven star managed to rock bright red Adidas jogging bottoms, which she had teamed with a white print T-shirt.

She added a cute cardigan which featured a bold floral design.

The 5ft 9in beauty piled her trademark flame locks into a loose up-do, and appeared to be make-up free.

She covered her eyes with dark glasses.

The star is a mother to three children – twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, and 11-year-old son Henry – with her cameraman husband Danny Moder.

The couple have been married since 2002, after she had a short first marriage to Lyle Lovett.

She was also once briefly engaged to Kiefer Sutherland but they broke up three days before their scheduled wedding.

Julia next stars on the big screen in December in drama Ben Is Back, in which she plays a mom struggling with her son’s (Lucas Hedge) drug addictions as he returns home for the holidays.

She is also currently filming the psychological thriller series Homecoming for Amazon, set to premiere in the fall.
