Taylor Swift Shares Rare Childhood Photo with Parents on Vacation to Promote New Single

And Taylor Swift gave fans a glimpse at her roots on Friday when she shared a throwback photo of herself alongside her parents posing in front of a wooden sign that read: ‘Pine Ridge Farm.’
The 29-year-old pop star captioned the photo: ‘Here we are on said Xmas tree farm. And I just want to say that my parents are the real 90’s fashion icons. I have spoken,’ referring to the family’s red pullover sweaters.

She posted the shot on the heels of releasing her new Christmas single, aptly titled Christmas Tree Farm, on Thursday.
Swift announced the new song with the following message on Instagram: ‘I actually did grow up on a Christmas tree farm. In a gingerbread house, deep within the yummy gummy gumdrop forest.
‘Where, funnily enough, this song is their national anthem.’

The single is is accompanied by a music video that displays home footage of Swift in her childhood home unwrapping gifts and sitting in the light of the Christmas tree.

‘Okay, I know this is pretty wild, but I’ve just written a Christmas song,’ she said in the selfie video.
