Tyson Fury was stone-faced when he watched his cousin Nathan Gorman get knocked out by Daniel Dubois.
In 2019, the two undefeated young heavyweights were matched together in a clash for the British title – a belt the Gypsy King had himself won eight years prior.

While Dubois was the higher rated of the pair and favourite to win before the contest, Gorman had serious backing.
This mainly came from Fury, who was fully behind his cousin to emerge victorious.
Gorman was 16-0 while Dubois was just 11-0.
However Dubois had a 91 per cent KO ratio to Gorman’s 75 per cent.
This proved the telling factor in the fight itself.
“Obviously Nathan’s my cousin, so I think Nathan will win,” Fury said in an interview shown when TNT Sports released behind the scenes footage from fight night.
Fury walked his cousin to the ring and sat at ringside to soak up the action.
Dubois came out quickly, throwing heavy shots from the opening bell and as the camera panned to Fury, he was urging Gorman on but had a nervous look on his face.

In round three ‘Dynamite’ Dubois showed why he has his nickname, as he floored Gorman with a big right hand.
Fury stroked his chin, clearly not enjoying what he was seeing, but Gorman bravely made it back to his feet.
Gorman fought back, throwing wild combinations, but Dubois looked relatively unfazed.
In round five, Fury was out of his seat shouting at his cousin in an attempt to motivate him, but it was in vain.
Moments later, Gorman was KO’d by a thunderous shot from Dubois.
‘The Gypsy King’ looked gutted with the result at ringside, but he made sure to climb in the ring after the fight and show respect to Dubois.
A few years on, Fury has been full of praise for Dubois, claiming he was hard done by in his clash with Oleksandr Usyk last year.
Fury of course will now take on Usyk himself for the undisputed heavyweight world titles on May 18.
