Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg will finally be opening the first London outpost of his puntastic Wahlburgers restaurant this month – and he’s flying in personally to do it.
The famous action man will be jetting into the capital this weekend to host a party at the new Covent Garden location. The restaurant will open officially to the public on May 20, but Wahlberg will be greeting fans on the red carpet from around 6pm on May 4, before kicking off a private VIP party inside the new hotspot.

The burger bar will be the first location for the fast food chain outside north America, which Wahlberg runs with his brothers Paul and New Kids on the Block star Donnie – two of the actor’s nine siblings. The soon to be 31-strong restaurant group also appears on a reality TV show of the same name, chronicling the brothers’ efforts in the industry.
