Sword, sorcery and a love of cinema

With almost half a century of career behind him, it is his passion and his vocation more than the simple financial aspect that drives the actor. In an interview with IndieWire, the Irishman confirmed it unambiguously: he is always emotional on the film set.

“I like working, because I’m always excited to see a bunch of strangers from some country looking for funding together and offering me a script. Men and women I’ve never met in my life and who want me to star in their film.
