And Liam Neeson and his son Daniel, 21, once again chose to spend some quality time spectating their favourite sport as they watched the Chicago Blackhawks take on the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday.
The 65-year-old actor appeared fixated on the game as he sat alongside a friend of his son, who seemed more preoccupied with his pretty female companion.

The Taken star seemed in high spirits as he watched the final alongside the youngsters, which ended in a 5-2 victory to the Chicago Blackhawks.
Liam and Daniel permanently reside in the American city, while the actor’s eldest son, Micheál, is based in the UK.

Until recently the 22-year-old was an art curator at a fashion gallery in London, though he has since landed an acting role in The Rising: 1916, which will also star Colin Morgan (Merlin) and Fiona Shaw (Harry Potter).
His son’s venture into the spotlight comes as Liam prepares to slow down his career in order to devote more time to charity work.
In the run-up to Christmas, the father-of-two visited children at the Ronald McDonald House in New York, where he posed with the sweet youngsters, before getting into the festive spirit and handing out presents.

In a recent interview, the actor said that he plans to retire from action movies, despite the number of lucrative offers he gets thanks to his box-office success in the three ‘Taken’ films, as well as other thrillers.
‘The thrillers, that was all a pure accident,’ said Neeson. ‘They’re still throwing serious money at me to do that stuff. I’m like, ‘Guy’s I’m sixty-f—ing-five.’ Audiences are eventually going to go, “Come on”.’
The Love Actually favourite still has two upcoming revenge thrillers he’s already shot: ‘Hard Powder,’ in which he plays a snowplow driver who faces off with drug dealers, and ‘The Commuter,’ with director Jaume Collet-Serra, who also directed Neeson in ‘Unknown,’ ”Non-Stop’ and ‘Run All Night’.

He added: ‘I’ve shot one that’s going to come out in January sometime. There might be another. That’s it. But not Taken, none of that franchise stuff.’
Instead, Liam has turned back to dramatic work, recently shooting Watergate drama ‘Mark Felt: The Man Who Brought Down the White House’.
In it, he plays the high-ranking FBI official who was the Washington Post’s ‘Deep Throat’ source in the scandal.
The Schindler’s List stand-out has also lined up to co-star in ‘Widows,’ by ‘Twelve Years a Slave’ director Steve McQueen. In December, he starred in Martin Scorsese’s spiritual epic ‘Silence.’
