After watching Black Mission, I felt quite impressed with the movie, especially with the acting of “old man” Liam Neeson. Really, the older actor “carries the team” so well.

The story of old bottles, new wine
Black Mission is a film written and directed by Mark William. The film’s content revolves around a former FBI agent, Travis Block (played by Liam Neeson). While on a mission to rescue his comrades from a dangerous situation, he accidentally discovered an illegal plan called Operation Unity. It is targeting ordinary citizens to do bad things. 
What is worth mentioning here is that the person behind that bad incident was his boss, FBI director Gabriel Robinson (played by Aidan Quinn), whom he respected very much. This broke all the trust and appreciation he had for his boss.
Unable to ignore evil plans that could harm innocent people, Travis Block immediately sets out to seek help from a journalist (played by Raver-Lampman). Meanwhile, he received information that his daughter and granddaughter were being threatened.
Faced with a difficult situation, needing to rescue his loved ones while also preventing the evil plans of the FBI director, how will Travis Block carry out that mission?
Overall, Black Mission has a plot that is not new. It makes a lot of people, including me, think of one of Liam Neeson’s lifetime roles in the three Taken movies.
However, Black Mission did a great job of not letting its story go into a routine, cliché and boring way. Mark William knows how to harmonize elements in the story to create extremely dramatic investigation scenes. How to exploit the psychology of characters in Black Mission is also more flexible and divides more character lines to create surprise, unpredictability.
With a simple plot that doesn’t feel too new, the action scenes seem to dominate Black Mission more.
The film’s rhythm is attractive, enough to create drama
Black Mission made me feel captivated right from the first minutes when it started with a brutal massacre. Next, a series of unexpected developments and “earth-shattering” stories continuously occurred. 
With every step, Travis Block seems to reveal another layer of mystery in this story, making the film’s storyline captivating and engaging. The climax is when Travis Block seems to have discovered almost every secret, the situation turns upside down, he will be turned into a hunting target.
After that, the audience’s emotions will be pushed to a climax according to the film’s linear storytelling style. I find that this way of telling can both create a feeling of suspense and make me drawn into the story and focus on watching from beginning to end.
Action scenes, continuous shooting or thrilling racing scenes that are considered “specialties” of this genre are also performed in an extremely unique way. I believe it will definitely not disappoint the audience. 
Cleverly evokes warm family emotions
Even though it’s an action movie, Black Mission still interjects Travis Block’s conversations with his adorable niece to send a very meaningful message. 
There are moments when I hear my niece ask : “Are you a good person?” , Travis Block had to think a lot about the question of hunger. Sometimes going through life but answering such a seemingly easy question is extremely difficult.
And it seems that the question asked by the granddaughter he loved so much made Travis Block’s journey more meaningful. On that journey, he searched for an accurate answer about himself.
Through the conversations between Travis Block and his niece Natalie, although the number of lines is not many and each conversation is short, it makes me realize one thing: there are sayings, when spoken to The right person, at the right time, with enough care and sincerity can change their whole personality.
In short, although it is not a groundbreaking script and there are not too many highlights in the movie, Black Mission is still a relatively good movie for me, at least in terms of techniques and acting.
