The French amphibious helicopter carrier is the Tonnerre, a Mistral-class vessel that was commissioned in 2007.
It is a 199-meter-long ship that serves as a floating airport and can carry up to 16 helicopters, including combat, transport, and reconnaissance helicopters.
The Tonnerre has a crew of around 150 sailors and can accommodate up to 1,000 troops, as well as 130 vehicles, making it a versatile and powerful asset for the French Navy.
