The fans of the iconic actor Gerard Butler were surprised after he confessed that he has been intimately with men and women but that he does not consider himself gɑy. “Even I don’t know what I am,” he said.

“I talk about my s-xuality without shame, I have no problem, but there are always those who distort everything. People seem to be intimidated by this issue and I don’t understand it.

Butler is one of the most recognized actors in Hollywood, especially for his role as Leonidas in the film “300”, considered a masculine icon; Therefore, his most recent statement caused great surprise among his fans since he revealed that he has had s-xual relations with men. 

In the film the actor plays the Spartan leader who faces 300 men in a battle against the Persian army.

After that he has been part of different projects that have not enjoyed the same success, although he remains in the hearts of the public for his representation of Leonidas and the famous phrase: “This is Sparta!” 

In an interview for Moveline, the 52-year-old actor noted that he has had intimate relationships with both men and women, but he does not consider himself homos-xual.

He explained that he does not want to put labels on his preferences, since he is not sure how he declares himself either. 

Butler has participated in other projects in film and theater, including “Posscript: I Love You” and “Trainspotting,” which are part of those with which he began his career in Hollywood.
