The X Factor judge reportedly enjoyed dinner at the four star hotel’s restaurant – which the actor paid for

Rita Ora and Gerard Butler reportedly enjoyed an intimate dinner before spending the night at a luxury Hollywood hotel.

The X Factor star is said to have spent the evening with the 300 hunk earlier last month, with the two stairs looking close as they drank and dined at the four star hotel’s in-house restaurant.

According to UsWeekly.com, a source said: “They drank wine and she hugged him when he returned to the table from a break… Gerard paid the bill.”

The report adds that Gerard is “ready” to date again after recently splitting from Morgan Brown, who he was with for more than a year.

A source added: “He’s totally single and ready to get back out there.”

It comes after rumours Rita may have to shelve almost 100 unreleased songs following lawsuits between herself and record label Roc Nation .

Late last year, the 25-year-old decided to sue Jay z’s label, stating that her relationship with the company had been “irrevocably damaged”.

And since then, the company has launched its own counter suit accusing her of breaking her contract.

As the war between the two sides heats up, reports suggest the pop princess may have to ditch as many as 100 unreleased songs.

According to reports from the Daily Star, a source revealed: “Rita is always recording and made almost 100 tracks over the past three years that may never come out.”

This could include tracks written by Jess Glynne, Charli XCX and Dianne Warren.

Although Jay Z is said to be happy to release the star from her contract, the big bosses have accused her of breaking her recording contract and failing to deliver her second album, which they claim to have spent almost £1.38 million developing and marketing.
