‘In five years I want to be in a relationship,’ Butler told the publication. ‘I’d love to have one or two kids — it’s about time.’
The 300 actor said that dating has taken a backseat to his stellar career, which has affected his opportunities to create a family.
With five films in the pipeline for the next few years, the P.S. I Love you star said it’s difficult for him to even find the time to pursue a family.

‘I have no personal life,’ Butler admitted.
The busy movie star has been touring the world promoting his new action-thriller Geostorm, which was released on Friday.
Known for his role as King Leonidas in the film 300, Gerard also faced a close call in a ‘hefty’ motorbike crash two weeks ago.

Recalling the accident, he told The Graham Norton Show last night: ‘A woman went from being parked to doing a U-turn and hit me. I did a somersault about 30ft in the air.
‘I jumped straight up but realised I done something bad. I broke my ankle and damaged my knee. It was pretty hefty.’
