The film industry has quite a negative history when it comes to the way people are treated.

This is especially true for women, considering almost all female actresses have some or other negative experience that perhaps wouldn’t have taken place if they were men.

Unfortunately, this was the case for Stone as well, who revealed that a powerful man, the head of Sony Entertainment, exposed himself in front of her and only stopped when the actress went into hysterics.

During an interview with Kelly Ripa on her podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera, Sharon Stone became extremely emotional when talking about the time that she went to Sony for the first time as a young actress in the 80s.

She mentioned that she was very excited about this meeting, putting extra attention on the fact that she was wearing a special outfit because she wanted to look her best for this important meeting.

Here, she went into the office of the head of Sony and sat on his couch.

“I went to his office and it was, you know, back in the ’80s, so the couch was basically on the floor, you know? It was those very low giant couches and my knees were around my neck.

And of course, I’m so tall anyway, so I look like… all legs sitting there akimbo on the couch, and he is pacing around the office.“Stone said she was inundated with compliments.

“‘Oh, it’s true what they say about you and you’re the most gorgeous,’” she remembered the executive saying. 

“‘We haven’t seen anyone like you in decades. Everybody’s talking about you and look at you.

You’re the most articulate. You’re so smart and beautiful and that hair.’

She explained that couches in the 80s were very low meaning that she had to almost squat down to sit down, meaning her legs were quite close to her face.

When the head of Sony entered the office he was facing around while the actress was sitting down.

He complimented her on her beauty, her grace, her hair, her wit, and how gorgeous she was. What came next was horrible.

After all these niceties, the head of Sony walked up to the actress and implied, that though she was beautiful, she needed to do something first before Sony could help her become a successful actress.

He then unbuttoned his pants, and exposed himself, right in front of her face. Naturally, the actress was shocked and horrified at what just happened.

She had quite a normal reaction to people in the situation, she started hysterically laughing and crying at the same time.

She mentioned that she was a very nervous and naturally bubbly person.

“Then he came walking right up in front of me and he said, ‘But first …‘ and he took his penis right out in my face”Then he came walking right up in front of me and he said, ‘But first …‘ and he took his penis right out in my face” she went on, “Of course, I was very young and what I do when I’m nervous, because I’m basically a very bubbly person, I started laughing.

And I started laughing and crying at the same time and I couldn’t stop because I became hysterical.”

She added, ” But this was not the last of many weird experiences like this in my career,” 

So she tried to brush it off by laughing, but she could not hide the effect this hard on her, making her cry.

She mentioned that she could not stop crying and the head of Sony did not know what to do.

She added that he ended up, buttoning his pants and went away while she was just crying there. His secretary eventually came in and let her out.

Unfortunately, the actress mentioned that this was just one of many experiences like this throughout her career
