The actor chopped off some serious length from his beloved lob as he films ‘Outcome’ with Jonah Hill
Keanu Reeves just debuted a dramatic hair transformation
While we’re used to seeing the 59-year-old actor with his signature long, shoulder-length lob, it looks like his new project required a much shorter ‘do.
The actor underwent a major haircut for his role in Jonah Hill’s dark comedy, Outcome.
New photos of Reeves taken on March 19 show him on set sporting a classic clean crew cut. His salt-and-pepper beard also appears to be shorter.

Although it’s not his shortest cut ever (he went full buzz cut when filming The Matrix Resurrections) it’s definitely much shorter than the shoulder-length layers he’s been rocking in the recent past, especially with his role in the John Wick franchise.
It looks like Reeves cut his hair this month, since a photo of him with a slightly shaggy crew cut, taken at a party with his girlfriend Alexandra Grant, Rob Lowe, his wife Sheryl Lowe and their son John, was shared to Instagram on March 9.
Fans immediately clocked the stud’s new look, one commenting, “Love the new hair cut Keanu… you cut off a few years. You look sexy as ever!!!”
The star was last seen with his long mane on Feb. 29, on the set of his other film Good Fortune, and on Feb. 4, when he attended the Saturn Awards sporting a long bob with a classic suit and tie.

In Outcome, directed by Hill, Reeves is set to play Reef, a man described as “a damaged Hollywood star who must dive into the dark depths of his past to confront his demons and make amends after he is extorted with a mysterious video clip from his past.”
Apple Original Films announced this week that Cameron Diaz is in final negotiations to costar with Reeves and Hill.
If confirmed, the film, cowritten by Hill and Ezra Woods, would mark Reeves and Diaz’s second film together after co-starring in 1996’s Feeling Minnesota.
