Keanu Reeves will not participate in the movie Devil in the White City as originally planned.
According to a source from Entertainment Weekly, the Matrix star withdrew his role from the movie Devil in the White City just 2 months after the cast was announced to the audience.
This film previously received a lot of attention when gathering a huge cast of stars, including talented director Martin Scorsese, Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio and Keanu Reeves .
Also according to this source, the online platform Hulu is currently urgently looking for another star to replace Keanu Reeves for the series.
The film has been in production and preparation for more than a decade, so the news that the actor suddenly quit the role made the audience extremely confused.
Meanwhile, Leonardo DiCaprio is said to have also started a part of this project in 2003, Tom Cruise is also said to hold the rights to the source material of this film.

If Keanu Reeves continues with the role, this will be the actor’s first television role. At the present time, it is still unclear why the 58-year-old star decided to withdraw.
Devil in the White City is based on the book of the same name by author Erik Larsen, revolving around a doctor named HH Holmes who is also a fraud and serial killer.
This project continues to mark the reunion between Hollywood’s “matching pair” Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio.
However, this time, the two cooperate as producers. The Titanic star has no intention of appearing in this series. Previously, Keanu Reeves was also one of the producers of the television series.
