The late actor also featured in films such as White House Down, Oldboy (American remake), and Won’t Back Down before starring in John Wick.
The actor shared the screen with Keanu Reeves in the legendary action franchise John Wick, Making his debut in the first film, Reddick starred as Charon, the trusted concierge of the Hotel Continental.
He co-starred with Reeves, Ian McShane, and Laurence Fishbourne in the series, with his last appearance being in John Wick: Chapter 4, which was released after his death in 2023.

Once, Lance Reddick revealed in an interview that his wife, Stephanie Reddick found his John Wick co-star Keanu Reeves attractive.
In an interview with Ian McShane and Reddick, the former mentioned that Reeves had a serious fan base around the world due to his nature off-screen. He said,
“His movie stardom changed with tragedy, changed with real-life charm. You know, people like looking at him on the screen. He ain’t too difficult to look at, either.”
Lance Reddick responded to the last line with a quip, saying, “Really? You think so? So, you agree with my wife? He agrees with my wife.”
The actor then went on to praise Keanu Reeves for his kind and gentle nature off-screen.

Unlike many others in the John Wick universe, Lance Reddick’s Charon was one of the few members of the underworld who were on the side of Reeves’ John Wick.
The character was a trusted concierge and even sacrificed himself for the Continental in the final chapter of the film.
Reddick passed away at the age of 60 on March 17, 2023. The actor reportedly died of natural causes in the morning and was reportedly suffering from a heart disease.
Tributes to the Fringe star poured from around the world, with Keanu Reeves also talking about his dear friend and co-star to Entertainment Tonight,
“Lance is a very beautiful person and special artist. His grace and dignity, his shining light of character was just something really special…[I am] really grateful I had the chance to know him and work with him over almost 10 years.”
Lance Reddick was survived by his wife Stephanie Reddick, and his two children from his first marriage.
Reddick’s last performance would be the upcoming John Wick spinoff film Ballerina, in which he would also appear as Charon for the last time.
Reddick recently appeared in the season 1 finale of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, where he played Zeus.
