Miley Cyrus and the MTV channel were fiercely criticized by the Parents Television Council (PTC) after the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, taking place in Los Angeles – USA for showing off scenes. Too close on stage.

Before appearing on stage as an MC, Miley Cyrus shocked everyone when she dressed like nothing on the red carpet at this awards ceremony.

And during the process of being an MC, Miley also constantly changed her outfits to be more revealing and made gestures that were considered offensive such as placing her hands on sensitive parts right on live television.

In addition, a scene panning backstage shows Miley Cyrus changing clothes and revealing part of her “bust”.

The scene changed quickly before Miley could utter a word, but it was enough for this offensive scene to appear on television.

Not to mention, Miley also freely talked about marijuana use right on the award ceremony stage.

PTC fiercely criticized Miley and MTV for not being responsible to the audience, for blatantly promoting sexualization as well as the use of banned substances.

PTC also suspects that the scene of Miley revealing her “bust” was a set-up and arrangement of the show, not accidental. “We were amazed that Miley Cyrus was able to show off her body in front of millions of television viewers and those who would watch the information in other media.

We thought that she would be prevented from doing wrong actions and that she would demonstrate her talent as a performance artist rather than relying on the provocative and revealing element in front of the audience” – Tim Winter , the president of PTC said in the statement.

MTV was accused of creating a toxic entertainment environment for young people instead of aiming for something positive when they let Miley freely talk about marijuana and using illegal substances on stage.

“Both MTV and Miley had the ability to steer things in a positive direction, using their influence to better inspire young people, but they didn’t do that” – Tim Winter continued.

However, the US Federal Communications Commission will not fine MTV for this live awards show because it is a cable channel and is not subject to strict regulations on nudity and vulgarity like other channels.

At the 2013 MTV Video Music Award, Miley was fiercely criticized for her vulgar performance with Robin Thicke when she wore a bikini and danced with suggestive and sexually suggestive movements with Robin Thicke as they both sang.

the songs “We Can’t Stop” and “Blurred Lines”.

At that time, this performance angered the American Parents Association of Television.

Veteran comedian Bill Maher even likened Miley’s performance to strippers.

Since the above event, Miley has slipped further into revealing and undressing scandals on stage.

Her tour also caused controversy and encountered many problems.
