The nice thing about blowout victories for players is they can take some extra time and notice who is in the crowd.

And Dallas Mavericks star Luka Dončić noticed Snoop Dogg sitting courtside during Thursday’s 124-103 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals.

As Dončić was leading the way and clinching a spot in the NBA Finals for his team, he drew a laugh from the rapper after an and-1 and a resigned head shake after a fourth-quarter three-pointer:

Snoop Dogg’s head shake summed up the night for the Timberwolves and their fans.

Dončić was unstoppable from the start and poured in 20 points in the first quarter alone. It was a statement quarter after he struggled some with his shot in the Game 4 loss, and he finished with 36 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and two steals.

It wasn’t just a one-man show, though, as Kyrie Irving also impressed on his way to 36 points, five assists and four rebounds.

The duo outscored Minnesota in the first half by themselves and was ready with an answer every time the Timberwolves built even the slightest amount of momentum. It was clear well before the banked three-pointer in the fourth quarter that Dallas was going to the NBA Finals.

While Dončić had some fun with Snoop Dogg, it wasn’t all games with every fan.

As Ben Golliver of the Washington Post detailed, a fan started waving a handkerchief at the five-time All-Star in the first quarter and said he was crying for fouls. Dončić noticed and ended up staring down the fan at times while torching the Timberwolves defense.

He is now just four wins away from the first championship of his career and will look to silence the Boston fans against the Celtics much like he did in Minnesota on Thursday.
