Drake seems to have hilariously upset Kai Cenat as a result of repeatedly mispronouncing his name.
On an episode of Sundae Conversation that aired on Sunday (May 26), host Caleb Pressley asked the streamer if people ever say his name incorrectly.
“Hell yeah! Drake does it all time time,” he said before imitating Drizzy’s version, in which the last syllable of his last name is said like the word “knot.” (The streamer says that it’s actually pronounced “gnat.”) “Can you believe that shit?”

Whereas the 22-year-old has built a relationship with a number of Hip Hop stars since his rapid rise in popularity, he wasn’t the least bit thrilled upon learning that Killer Mike dominated the rap branch of the 2024 Grammy Awards – in fact, he didn’t even know who the Southern MC was when the news broke.
During an appearance on The Breakfast Club in mid-February, Mike admitted that he didn’t know who the YouTube sensation was either, before his wins at the annual ceremony brought him to the latter’s attention.
The popular Twitch streamer reacted to Michael‘s victory with a profane rant, seemingly shocked that it had triumphed over Drake and 21 Savage‘s Her Loss, Travis Scott‘s Utopia and Metro Boomin‘s Heroes & Villains (King’s Disease III by Nas was also nominated, but went unmentioned by Cenat).
“Don’t be afraid to own it,” the Run The Jewels rapper said about the above criticism. “Like I made the best rap album last year. I know my guy Kai was upset, man. Shouts out to Kai Cenat. Hey man, I didn’t know who the fuck you was either. But listen, now that I know my n-gga — man let me bring a broom through ya room, player! See if we can put it together. I wanna see you win. I wanna see it happen. I’m sorry your boy didn’t get it – well no I’m not because I won.
“But shouts out to Travis. I’ve seen him grow from SXSW. I ain’t got no hate for nobody. I want you to win but if we competing, I absolutely want to win and I will rap a muthafucka under the table.”
The Atlanta native went on to say that while Cenat may not care for the album now, he does believe its content will mean much more to him as he gets older.
“I’m just here to tell Kai […] because you’re a leader, you will lead a team.” he added. “As you grow into your leadership, this album’s gonna be more and more relevant to you. As you matriculate more into adulthood, because you’re a young man, this album is gonna mean more and more to you.”
